Seeking Experienced Maintenance Supervisor

Hardeeville based plant is seeking an industrial maintenance mechanic with 3-5 years prior experience in a machine shop, or manufacturing industry with repair experience in: electrical hydraulic, lift maintenance and welding.
This 1st Shift Maintenance Mechanic position will be responsible for: machine troubleshooting, perform repairs, and preventative maintenance on equipment to include: production, lift machinery, and other equipment. You will work independently as the sole maintenance mechanic. Duties include: light hydraulics, pneumatics, metal fabrication, welding, forklift inspection, diagnostics and repair, electrical troubleshooting, wiring, electrical repair, preventative maintenance, and more. You will respond to and address all requests made by the Plant Manager.

Candidate will follow company Human Resource and Safety policies, and will conduct all job responsibilities within OSHA, NFPA, and other government compliance standards.

Physical Demands to be met are: frequent walking, standing, climbing up and down platforms/ladders, working at high elevations or in tight quarters, bending, squatting, and twisting. Occasional exposure to noise, frequent exposure toheat, grease, oil, chemical solvents, dust and dirt, frequent lifting of 30 to 50 pounds, and frequent lifting at shoulder height or higher. Work with welding equipment, power tools, and able to be forklift certified

Working hours: 7:30-4:30
