SAW OPERATOR NEEDED

Hardeeville based plant is seeking an industrial SAW OPERATOR with 3-5 years prior experience in warehouse work and PAPER ROLL CLAMP LIFT experience

This 1st Shift Saw Operator will be responsible for continuously operating a paper roll clamp lift and a paper roll saw. Operator will use lift to bring paper rolls to saw station, place paper rolls on saw station and then operate paper roll saw in order to cut paper rolls. Operator must be able to use paper roll clamp lift in order to manipulate and stack paper rolls after they have been cut into smaller sections. Operator will also respond to and address all requests made by the Plant Manager.

Candidate will follow company Human Resource and Safety policies, and will conduct all job responsibilities within OSHA, NFPA, and other government compliance standards.

Physical Demands to be met are: frequent walking, standing, climbing up and down platforms/ladders, bending, squatting, and twisting. Occasional exposure to noise, frequent exposure to heat, grease, oil, chemical solvents, dust and dirt, frequent lifting of 30 to 50 pounds, and frequent lifting at shoulder height or higher.

Working hours: 7:30-4:30
